Hello. You will turn off the power and water to the unit. Then remove the screw and bracket from the back. Make sure the hoses are off the valve first. Then remove the wires and fill line and install new valve into the unit.

Hello Dan, You will want to check to make sure that there is power getting to the water valve. With the timer turned to the on position and supposed to call for water, check to make sure that you are getting 120vac to the valve. If the unit is not agitating at all then the water valve would need to be replaced. If the unit agitates but does not fill then the pressure hose may be clogged and you will want to check this. If it is clear then the pressure switch would be the cause of the unit not filling.You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Hello Grl. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
