Terri, the element you're looking for is WP4391960 and you may need to order a couple of additional parts "Dryer Heating Element, 240v 5200w. As Of Late 2011 Adapter Wires # 279457 279457 Are No Longer Included W/Element 9If needed order 2). Once you've removed the element from the heater case, you can visually inspect the wire for breaks and shorted areas (especially in the insulator area) or place a a VOM meter leads across the two terminals, with the meter set at R1 or the lowesr resistance setting you should read a "closed" circuit. To replace the heating element. Pull unit out and unplug the power cord. Remove the rear cover on the dryer. The heating element will be on the right side when looking from the back. The duct will have 2 screws at the bottom to remove. Remove the screws and slide the element out the bottom of the duct. Install in reverse order.

Hello Paul, Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the thermal fuse, heater, and thermostats and see if they are good. Make sure to dis-connect one wire to each component before testing to ensure you are not reading resistqance through the circuit. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
