Error code "over fill" (flashing 'smart auto' and 'heavy' lights) cycle doesn't start in time for water to reach over fill sensor Patrick H. • Conyers , GA • May 19, 2015
Here's what the problem was:
Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor.
So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. I, however, was able to get by with just the ECS sensor replacement, which is known to be a faulty design by Samsung, supposedly.
The idea is replace the (1) most common...

My husband and I were in a pickle, the dishwasher was on strike and we knew that hiring someone to fix it would probably cost the same as buying a new one. So we decided to DIY. Our dishwasher is a Jenn Air. We googled DIY how to fix online, we had an idea what parts we needed to replace. In our research and price comparison we found Appliance Parts Pros. They had good reviews and were one of the best for prices. We ordered the touch pad control panel and the electronic control board. ...

Dishwasher wouldn't cycle properly, would hang during washes Renae M. • Kettering , OH • April 20, 2021
I noticed something was wrong when the dishwasher no longer remembered the last cycle performed. After it finished, it would go to a default cycle. A couple of weeks ago, my husband said it wouldn't start. Then I noticed on subsequent washes, there was a high probability that it would hang at a random part of the wash cycle. I was able to reset it though. The last time it stuck was during the pre cycle, where it drains any water and runs the disposer. It hung there all night! I tried cycling...
