Stuck on 1 minute moldy and white film on dishes. Ben W. • Vienna , VA • January 01, 2018
On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. At first, I thought it was the heater relay on the control board, but I pulled that relay and it seemed to be working. I could get an ohmmeter on the heater element without taking the bottom off the dishwasher, and the resistance was infinite. Replacing the heater did the trick.
On my unit there was a...

Missing a part that was difficult to identify Tom D. • Aptos , CA • July 15, 2016

When the electrician tried to install it, he found that it was missing a critical, proprietary part that connected the power to the unit. The part did not appear on any diagrams provided with the machine. I contacted Appliance Parts Pros. They found an obscure diagram that showed the part, identified the part, and tracked it down for me. The part was priced reasonably and shipped quickly. Highly...

I replaced the Board-Phas and speed control plate since power was not making it to the motor. When I received the speed control plate it had nuts on the upper screws with springs, since my old one didn't have nuts I assumed that the nuts were to keep the springs on until installed. After putting it back together, I noticed that though it worked, the first two settings did nothing. Now, guys, I was desperate, OK. I downloaded the service manual and read it from front to back, and when I got to...

Drain hose was leaking Haide H. • Chatham Township , NJ • May 01, 2017
The video was very helpful. the hardest part is getting off old rusted parts. I had to use a hacksaw to remove one of the old clamps. I had to open the bottom of the washing machine to remove of the other clamp. Putting the new parts on was easy. Getting everything apart was a challenge. Putting the new parts on was an easy 5 minute job.
