The GE Advantium Oven completely shut down. No lights, no sign of life at all. Denny E. • Waynesboro , VA • March 14, 2014
I read on line about other such ovens doing the same thing mine was doing, absolutely nothing!
I even read stories of a major retailer telling customers to throw the microwave away. There's nothing you can do to fix it. After replacing a simple fuse that I ordered from you, the Advantium is as good as new. It took a grand total of 5 minutes to make the repair. The shipping cost more than the part, but it was all very worthwhile.

Microwave would not heat but had power Wilbur C. • Washington , DC • December 16, 2017
14 year old GE Profile microwave wouldn't heat, but had power. Read reviews here. Ordered triumvirate of magnetron, capacitor, & diode. Was hoping not to need the capacitor as this was an expensive part; and if not needed to return to AppliancePartsPros, which has been SOP.
After watching a couple YouTube videos of microwave capacitors being shorted, I made a capacitor discharge tool ordering 24W 100K Ohm resistor and high voltage test wires w/ alligator clips from amazon. At the same time,...

No power none at all completely dead Jeff D. • Yarmouth , ME • November 18, 2017
GE Microwave/Convection Oven. Removed case (carefully). Tested in-line power cord fuse with multi-meter. Fuse was good. Noticed a scorch mark on a wire connected to the oven cavity thermal fuse. The fuse appeared to have been overheated from too much movement in it's mount. Removed part from unit and used number on the part to order a new one. Installed new part, re-assembled, and unit works fine.

Broken grille assembly Steven M. • Laguna Niguel , CA • November 22, 2016
I ordered both the Grille Assembly and two Grille Clips because it wasn't clear that the clips came with the assembly; they do. I was glad that I did because one of the clips on the assembly was defective, so I had a back up. NOTE: save your old screws; they are NOT included.
Installation is relatively simple. It is important that you get the side edges snapped into position before screwing the assembly into place. This may require another person. You most likely will need a small step stool...
