Secures microwave to mounting bracket. Replaces stripped, cross-threaded, or missing cage nuts. Installs inside cabinet housing for stable installation.
I took the machine screws out of the outer panel for the right side only. Then pull the panel back a bit to release the lips from the front of the machine and had immediate access to the internal assembly that housed mounting nut. Order the new parts from AppliancePartsPro.com during the Thanksgiving week. Still received via FedEx in short time due to their same day shipping - which was greatly appreciated and surprising. Most small part places take a while to get the product out the door,... Read more
Getting a C-10 error code or popcorn button not working? This humidity sensor monitors moisture levels during cooking. Moderate DIY difficulty.
Unplugged power cord. Removed the microwave from over the range. Removed vent and screws on of microwave, which allowed me to remove compartment containing sensor at upper left area of microwave. Removed clamp holding sensor. Removed and replaced sensor. Reversed process and reinstalled unit. Read more
Microwave has no power or won't start? A faulty cavity thermostat often causes complete shutdowns. This part restores temperature control in 5-10 minutes.
I attempted to diagnose the four thermostats/thermal switches in the microwave....two right behind the control panel, one on top of the cooking cabin, and one under a metal shroud above the magnetron. While checking continuity with a voltmeter, i questioned one of them behind the control panel and the one above the magnetron. I then noticed a burn mark on the plastic connector sleeve for the one above the magnetron. I took a scrap piece of 14 gage copper wire and beat the ends flat with a... Read more
Securely holds the microwave lamp for reliable interior illumination. Replace if socket is damaged, corroded, or bulbs burn out frequently. Confirm fit.
Our microwave is mounted over the range, and has dual lights underneath that light up the range. A while back in trying to replace burned out bulbs, one of the bulbs broke and in trying to remove the rest of the bulb from the socket, I accidentally destroyed the socket. We worked fine with the remaining bulb for a year or so, but it finally burned out. Unfortunately all of the replacement bulbs would only last 1-2 days before burning out again in the one socket. When I'd originally destroyed... Read more

Microwave not heating food? A faulty high voltage capacitor often causes no heat issues. This repair requires electrical safety knowledge and care.
Did a little research prior to opening the microwave up. Microwave has to be taken down for repair and then hung back on the wall after repair. Would recommend using 2 people for this job. Checked the 3 thermocouples, one at the top (normally closed) and two at the bottom (one is normally closed and one normally opened). All three checked good. Checked both fuses, found the fuse marked Main Fuse to be blown. Fuses blow because of a problem, did some digging. Prior to the microwave going out... Read more
Microwave stopped heating or makes humming noise before shutting off? The high voltage capacitor often fails first. DIY repair in under 30 minutes.
Main Fuse did not open, only fuse for high voltage section was opened. Prior to the fuse blowing a louder than normal hum was heard from microwave for 1-2 seconds prior. Easy fix is the high voltage capacitor, so first checked the voltage across the capacitor terminals to ensure capacitor was discharged. Typically should be reasonably discharged within 30sec-1min assuming drain resistor is still in place. Removed the high voltage cap, and checked the capacitance and did not get a reading.... Microwave has no power or won't turn on? This fuse cartridge protects against electrical overload. Requires removing outer cover to access and replace.
Removed microwave from the built in cabinet (probably the hardest part) and took off top cover (screws on side and back). Had previously blown the power fuse 2 times in this microwave, so I checked the fuse first using an ohmmeter. This time fuse was good. Traced the power wires around to top side of microwave and saw the overheat "therm" switch. I believe the therm is installed there as a safety feature to open the power circuit to the microwave in case something was to overheat for any... Read more

Went on line, entered the model number and actually chatted with your competition who said it was the fan and I needed an electrician and he would be available for a $37.00 fee .I'm not a genius at repairing, but I knew it was a mechanical issue, so fortunately I found your company and the comment section told me how to get to the part and change it. Being without this appliance is tough on my wife. But the part came Sunday morning early and before she got up, it was now repaired. Read more
