I ordered a pair of springs from AppliancePartsPros.com. When the new springs arrived, I unscrewed the frame from the counter top, slid the dishwasher out part of the way and installed the new springs and saved myself at least one-hundred dollars. Read more
This heater terminal nut fastens the heating element's electrical connector to its stud, keeping the connection tight under heat and vibration. Replacing a worn or missing nut restores safe contact and consistent heating performance.
Replaced the heating element as shown in the video. Repaired a bad connector on the wire leading to the heating element. The clean light still flashed 3 times. The clean light now flashed 7 times which I discovered meant that the control panel needed to be reset. I then reset the control panel by pressing the buttons: normal, heated dry, normal, heated dry.
