The video was quite helpful with step by step instructions. I ordered a belt and idler pulley before dismantling assuming they were the issues. Belt was easy and fit fine but I did not realize the idler pulley was secured with a special fastener, push on cap nut, that would be damaged if removed. So I left it in place. Just slid the new one on... after pulling the metal retaining clip from the old one off of the shaft. When the old knob gave out the internal metal retaining clip stayed on the shaft. I didn't notice it until I tried to replace the knob and it wouldn't slide on easily. The best part was that the knob arrived the next day after ordering. Read more
