Dryer not heating or overheating? This safety thermostat (hi-limit L210) cuts power when temps get too high. DIY-friendly, 10-minute install with video.
Replaced the high limit safety thermostat. Ordering was easy, and the part came quickly. The video on the web site was helpful, although I was not able to follow the instructions fully. I unscrewed the 3 Phillips screws on the back of the dryer controls housing, then it folds forward for access to each control switch. the old one popped out, and I swapped the wires using a needle nose pliers, one by one, from the old switch to the new switch. The part was an exact fit, and popped right back into the housing. I screwed the 3 screws back in, pushed on the new knob, and it looks and works like new ! Read more
