Seals the water inlet connection to prevent leaks during fill cycles. Replace if you notice water pooling or dripping. Confirm fit with your model number.
After researching the Internet, I thought the drainage hoses were my problem. First I changed both drainage hoses. That didn’t solve the problem. I had to look for another area that was causing water to drip into the pan. I found water leaking from behind the brake assembly. Since I didn’t get an oE error code, I eliminated the brake assembly as causing my problem. I ordered a brake gasket and cover. Once I got it properly installed, problem solved! Read more
Replace your dishwasher's filter mesh screen when damaged or torn to prevent debris from reaching the pump. Traps food particles during wash cycles.
We took apart the filter and scrubbed out all effected areas. During the process we ended up damaging the original filter and needed to order a new one which is where APP.com came in. We were able to restore our dishwasher to working condition the next day as the shipping was extremely quick. Read more
Fix Smart Auto and Normal lights flashing on your dishwasher. This temperature sensor resolves high heat errors. 30-minute repair, requires tipping unit.
Here's what the problem was: Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor. So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. I, however, was able to get by with just the ECS sensor replacement, which is known to be a faulty design by Samsung, supposedly. The idea is replace the (1) most common... Read more
Dishes not getting clean or dishwasher draining constantly? A broken grinder blade prevents proper food waste processing. Takes 30 minutes to replace.
Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. I removed and cleaned the brake assembly ( large transparent plastic section on left side of the dishwasher). I cleaned this for preventive maintenance by taking the float... Read more
Dishwasher not cleaning dishes properly or making loud noises? This circulation pump and motor assembly restores water spray pressure and flow.
If rinse aid is leaking or the cap is broken, this dishwasher rinse aid dispenser cap restores proper release. Moderate DIY repair for most users.
Removing the door panel was easy -- remove 6 Torx screws, and the panel falls off. Next you need to remove an electrical plug and 2 individual wires from the old dispenser. The plug came right off, but the wires were not easy to access, and they fought me more than I expected. With some pliers and wiggling, they eventually let go and came free. The dispenser is held in place with 6 Phillips screws through 2 removable metal brackets, and those came out easily. The toughest part of the job... Read more

Prevents leaks and maintains water circulation in your dishwasher. Replace if you notice water pooling or weak spray. Confirm fit with your model number.
Research indicated that it may be a moisture sensor failure or a leak. It ended up being a leak from the oil seal on the motor shaft. A small piece of plastic made it's way into the system. The hot water softened it enough that it wrapped around the motor shaft, re-hardened, then tore into the shaft seal. I fixed it by replacing the shaft seal, moisture sensor (corrodes when it gets wet), and replaced the sump seal since I had it disassembled. Read more

Fix water dripping during the drying cycle or high-pitch screeching noises. This dry duct assembly repairs warped ducts and failed fans. 20-minute DIY fix.
With the door front off, during the drying cycle you could see drops of water ennng down the exhaust, dripping on the floor. The design allows for some water but not the amount we were seeing. Replacing the complete assembly fixed the problem. I took apart the old vent assembly and found it slightly warped and the cool air fan which pulls air into the vent assembly had significant dust, dirt and cat hair. This is likely the major issue since it reduced the cool air flow changing the... Read more
