Changed the Frigidaire Icemaker Fill Tube Part # 241796405 (AP5671747) about a week ago and so far the Frigidaire Refrigerator seems to work fine. Did not use other ordered parts. Turned off water behind the fridge. Unscrewed housing that covered water lines behind the filter base with a 1/4" socket. Pulled out the water hoses by pulling forward on the blue ring holding the hose while pulling the hose backward. Unscrewed the two screws below the filter base. Used the 1/4" socket to remove four additional 1/4" nuts holding the front housing until it partially dropped. I kept the housing propped on a jar. Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more

Evaporater fan would not run. Unplug the fridge and plug it back in and the fan would run for a while. Installed the UI-KIT SXS and the problem was fixed. The kit saved $ over ordering each part separate. I didn't know which part was bad. Saved more than half the cost of Main Switch Board when ordering the kit. Fast shipping!
