I put a piece of two-by-four, (2"x4") about 10-inches long on edge under the door to support the door. I removed the 3-bolts attaching the door hinge at the bottom corner. I replaced the defrost thermostat and the defrost timer. That corrected the problem. Be careful when ordering your parts. I put in my model# and they gave me a defrost timer that was incorrect. I had to return at my cost and order the correct one. Don't assume because you put in your model# that the part is correct.
