Symptoms of a bad Fine Filter Hub Nut include:

The Middle Spray Arm is an OEM replacement part for GE dishwashers. It is an internal component responsible for distributing water and washing accessories to dishes located in the center rack of the dishwasher.
Symptoms of a bad middle spray arm include:
Causes of a bad middle spray arm can be normal wear and tear, mineral buildup obstructing spray outlets, or physical damage to the arm itself.
Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished. By replacing all the spray arms (clogged with debris), filters, drain hose, and sump...this dishwasher cleans like it did when it was new! Cost was around $100 (also replaced a wheel and the silverware basket) and labor was relatively simple. And to think...my mother-in-law said, "Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new one?!?". Thanks to appliancepartspros.com the dishwasher was able to be repaired quickly and under budget. I removed the motor pump assembly and replaced it. I was also able to change out the faulty flood switch and replace the seals to stop the leak. The appliance is once again good as new and ready to run a new load of dishes. Read more
This dishwasher vent cover mounts on the inner door and shields the exhaust opening. It directs moist air out during drying while helping keep spray and debris out of the vent path to protect internal components. What it does:
The 4 screws that hold the vent cover in place also hold the assembly inside the door that has the heater motor and other items. The four screws go through the assembly inside the door, through the door and into 4 plastic legs on the vent cover. Two of the legs on the vent cover were broken and therefore the vent cover and the assembly inside the door were not being held tight against the door. The water was leaking in that area. Read more

This harness plug connects the dishwasher's wiring to the water inlet valve. Replacing a burnt, brittle, or loose connector restores a solid electrical connection so the valve energizes correctly and the tub fills when the cycle begins.
Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. Installed the new valve, replaced the bracket and the toe cover and dish washer is back in service like brand new. Wife was ready to... Read more

This mounting nut secures the tower heater assembly in the appliance, keeping the heater stable and properly positioned for safe, efficient operation. Replacing a damaged nut restores secure attachment and reduces rattling or loose components. What it does
This was not an obvious source of a leak. The Tower Heater Assembly Nut developed a crack over time due to heat exposure. So the leak was gradual slowly getting worse over time. It was a hairline crack that ran down one of the edges of the nut making it hard to see. In talking to a pro he said it isn't a common problem. It is all the way in the back of the bottom of the dishwasher so it is not something you can see without pulling the dishwasher out and running it. The repair itself is easy. I... Read more
