Replacement evaporator fan motor designed for the freezer evaporator assembly to restore airflow and help maintain consistent cold temperatures. Use this motor when the original stops running, hums without spinning, or makes unusual noise. What it does:
- Circulates cold air over the evaporator coil so the freezer and refrigerator sections cool evenly.
- Helps prevent frost buildup that can occur when airflow is reduced or stops.
- Common symptoms: freezer warming, reduced cooling, loud humming/clicking, or a motor that won't spin.
- Operates as the airflow source for the evaporator compartment in many Whirlpool refrigerators.
What's included: One evaporator fan motor. Install notes:
- Unplug the appliance before starting and discharge any stored energy if present.
- Keep fasteners and wiring orientation labeled for correct reassembly; verify connector fit and routing.
- Expect to remove interior panels or the evaporator cover to access the motor; watch for sharp edges.
- After installation, restore power and confirm the motor runs and airflow is restored.

Ice stripper removes ice cubes from the ice maker mold so the dispenser or storage bin fills properly. Replacing a worn or broken stripper helps the ice maker eject cubes cleanly and reduces ice jams or stuck cubes. What it does:
- Pushes or guides harvested cubes out of the ice mold into the bin during the ice maker's harvest cycle.
- Prevents cubes from sticking in the mold; a damaged stripper can cause incomplete ejection or leftover ice in the mold.
- Works with the ice maker's ejector mechanism to maintain consistent cube release and storage.
- A faulty or broken stripper may lead to noisy operation, partial fills, or visible ice build-up in the mold.
What's included: One ice stripper. Install notes:
- Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any repair to avoid electrical shock.
- Remove the ice maker or access panel per the manufacturer's instructions to reach the stripper; keep small parts and screws organized.
- Inspect the ice mold and surrounding components for damage or ice build-up; clear ice before installing the new stripper.
- After installation, restore power and run a test harvest cycle to ensure proper cube ejection.

This is the refrigerator's sealed-system compressor. It pressurizes and moves refrigerant through the system to remove heat from the cabinet, restoring consistent cooling performance when the original compressor has failed or lost capacity. What it does and common symptoms:
- Pumps and circulates refrigerant through the evaporator and condenser to remove heat
- Maintains target temperatures in both fresh food and freezer sections
- Symptoms of failure can include: no cool/poor cooling, unit warms up after short operation, humming then clicking from the compressor area, or repeated thermal overload trips
- Runs but not cool effectively when the compressor is weak or internally damaged (after ruling out start components and charge issues)
What's included:
Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; sealed-system work involves high pressure and high temperatures
- Sealed-system repairs require EPA Section 608 certification and specialized tools (gauges, vacuum pump, brazing equipment)
- Replace the filter-drier, braze connections properly, evacuate to deep vacuum, and charge to the model's specification
- Related components (start device/overload, run capacitor, controls) are tested before condemning the compressor

- Can help address water leaks around the drain area
- Deterioration, cracking, or hardening of the old gasket may cause seepage
- Replacing a worn gasket can restore proper leak prevention
What's included: 1 drain tube gasket Install notes:
- Unplug the appliance and shut off water supply before service
- Place a towel or pan to catch residual water when disconnecting the tube
- Inspect the tube and mating surfaces; clean before installing the new gasket
- Do not overtighten fittings; verify a snug, even seal and check for leaks on first run

This small extension mounts on the end of the ice maker's bail/shut-off arm. It restores the proper reach so the ice maker senses a full bin and stops production, helping prevent overfilling and ice jams. What it does:
- Attaches to the end of the ice maker bail/shut-off arm to extend its reach
- Helps the ice maker detect a full ice bin and pause ice production
- Replace if cracked, warped, or missing from the arm
- Common symptoms: ice maker won't stop making ice, ice overfilling or spilling into the freezer
What's included:
Install notes:
- Unplug the refrigerator before servicing
- Remove the ice bin for access and locate the ice maker bail/shut-off arm
- Install the extension on the arm as designed; ensure free movement and proper alignment with the bin
- Restore power and verify the arm moves freely and shuts ice production off when raised

While AP videos are very informative there is no current AP video showing an icemaker installed in the "long position" vs the wide position. This appliance has freezer across bottom and small compartment in the refrigerator for the ice maker. AP techs were basically unfamiliar with servicing this configuration. It was trial & error and discussions to get to the extension. Eventually it was learned the cover hiding the wiring harness had to be removed to free the wiring...
