Noisy spin cycle or loose tub? This spanner nut secures the washer tub to the drive shaft. Requires spanner wrench for installation. DIY-friendly.
First off I have to say that Appliance Parts Pro's saved me from hiring a repair person, and quite possibly just getting rid of my washing machine. Their video's helped out SOOOOOOOO much and the advice one of their agents gave me over their online chat helped me trouble shoot something when I got stuck. On top of this they shipped my parts fast enough that less than 12 hrs later they arrived, which allowed me to get my machine up and running way faster than the other options I had available.... Clear plastic cover that sits above the crisper drawer in your refrigerator. Replace if cracked, broken, or warped. Quick snap-in installation.
Gotta love the inter-webs and youtube.com I did a couple of searches and some troubleshooting. Everything pointed to the damper assembly and thermo so I ordered them as well as the new versions of the flimsy plastic drawer shelves, while I was working out of state during COVID. I had the parts waiting for me at the house. Rolled in Sunday, 22 minutes later, damper and thermo installed. The fridge is cooling. Today is Tuesday and everything is back down to temp. knuckle bump. Read more

Refrigerator not cooling properly? A damaged condenser fan blade prevents airflow over the condenser coils. Quick DIY fix—simply push into place.
I originally ordered the Fan motor from a appliance dealer. I waited for 5 days for it to arrive. In the meantime I scavenge a motor from a junk refrigerator from the dump. It worked while I waited for the motor from the appliance dealer. When I picked it up 5 days later it was the "wrong" part. I was fuming mad. I went online and found you guys and ordered the correct parts in 5 minutes. It arrived in 1 day and a half, "COOL" ! The repair went quick and smooth and now the refrigerator runs... Read more

Replaces the plastic paddle lever that activates your refrigerator's water dispenser. Install this actuator if your original is cracked, broken, or missing.
Shopped online and found your great website, read reviews and based diagnostics on similarities I saw in other peoples stories. So I was able to choose correctly when replacing the circuit board. As far as the water switch in door, and drawer parts I just replaced them because I was tired of gluing them, and knew that with everything working good again and looking good, that it would be like a Tune up for our refrigerator. Filters debris from water entering your washer and seals the hose connection. Replace if water fills slowly or screens are clogged. Confirm fit by model.
As a Mechanic, I did the common sense approach: INITIAL OBSERVATIONS & CHECKS: - Unplug Machine & check inlet water hose connections for leaks and signs of hose failure; - Remove back panel & inspect for water presence at all hose connections, pump, bottom of basket (bottom center of basket where the main motor, shaft bearing, and tub seal is located), dispensers, bottom of wash basket, water injector area, look everywhere where there is a hose connection and where water flows... - Inspect... Fix a dryer that overheats or won't heat properly with a new cycling thermostat. Regulates temperature during drying cycles. DIY-friendly repair.
This Maytag dryer was bought in 1985 if memory serves. It has worked hard with few repairs done by yours truly over the years. Thanks to the engineering and excellent design by Maytag staff, removing parts are relatively easy. Once I opened the unit, I found it to be full of lint. I cleaned the entire inside and the vent pipe duct work. I found the blower wheel assembly worn. Though it was not cause of my problem, I decided to change it along with the igniter, heater relay and the fan belt. I... Read more
Rubber seal for the ice dispenser door on side-by-side refrigerators. Replaces cracked, worn, or missing seals that allow warm air into the freezer.
I wasn't sure if it was the door being warped, the spring return being worn, or the rotary damper failing, so I ordered all to update the door mechanism. I also ordered a new micro switch since one of the switches had started to require more and more pressure to actuate. Figured I'd fix it at the same time. Repair was very straightforward and the videos available on this and other repair sites were very helpful. I found a video that showed replacing the door mechanism on a nearly identical... Read more
