Condenser fan stopped on my big 2003 Monogram 4 foot wide ZIS480D Refrigerator. It is top mounted. The fridge had to be rolled out. 20 screws removed and the top sheet metal to get at the condenser. That was the only way to get at it. Works like new now. Read more

Changed fan motor, rubber grommets, and dust cover. It sounded like the vibrating sound was being caused by the motor. But, come to find out I had a chipped blade on one of the fan blades. This was a two and half year issue as different things failed at different times. I would get one part, then another would fail. Ultimately, I got to a point where what failed, I hadn't been ordered the part yet. The seal on the freezer door took three bathing's before it plumped up and un-creased. After some simple troubleshooting, determined that it was likely the (rear) main control board. Once the new board arrived, it was installed in 5-10 minutes once the refrigerator was pulled out from the wall and the area cleaned up a bit. My only negative feedback was that delivery was too slow by today's standards. Fedex Post was used and in my experience it usually adds an extra 2-days compared to other ground shipping methods.
