This front suspension rod assembly supports and stabilizes the washer tub from the front side, helping control vibration and keeping the basket centered for smooth spin and wash performance.
Replaced transmission and support assembly. Hub nut corrode on support, spanner wrench would not loosen. Had to use 1 11/16 deep socket and impact wrench to remove, basket would not com off support even after cleaning out and soaking with penetrant and using automotive air hammer to push out. I had to cut support plate in half with die grinder, cut bearing from shaft and punch out agitator shaft then use die grinder with carbide burr to cut basket shaft in two before basket would come off... This washer motor run capacitor stores and releases electrical energy to help the drive motor start and run smoothly. Replacing a weak capacitor can help restore consistent agitation and spin and reduce motor humming or stalling under load.
The Dryer is 10 years old GE Front Load DPVH890JEMG. The drum would intermittently not rotate at the beginning of a cycle and occasionally would rotate but then start and stop throughout the cycle. I did not check error codes, but the windings on the motor were black. So it seemed reasonable that the motor was overheating and sending a signal to the control board to stop. There is one screw under the knob and 9 screws on the front to get inside. I decided to replace the bearings, capacitor,... Read more
This rear suspension rod assembly supports the washer tub from the back of the cabinet. Replacing a worn or broken rod restores stable spin performance and helps reduce banging, vibration, and off-balance interruptions.
Door gasket seals the door assembly to limit air leaks and keep heat and moisture inside the drum. Replacing a worn gasket restores airflow, improves drying performance, and reduces lint and warm air escaping at the door.
This valve regulates the flow of water into your washer during each cycle. Replacing a failing valve restores proper fill rate and temperature selection to help prevent long fills, no fill, or leaks from a valve that won't close.
This locking clip secures a mating component inside the washer, keeping it firmly attached to its mounting point. Replacing a worn or missing clip restores a snug fit and helps prevent movement, intermittent connections, and noise during operation.
This electronic water level pressure switch senses air pressure from the wash tub and tells the control when to start and stop filling. Replacing a failed switch restores proper fill levels and helps cycles advance reliably. What it does:
This replacement cover fits the washer's front service door. It restores a clean, finished look and helps shield the service compartment from dust and debris when the original cover is cracked, loose, or missing.
This spring cover protects and retains a mechanism spring inside your washer. Replacing a cracked or missing cover helps keep the spring seated, limits debris intrusion, and supports smooth, reliable movement of the associated control, latch, or linkage.
This electronic control board assembly is the washer's central controller, managing cycle selection, timing, and communication with key components. Replacing a failed board can restore proper operation and dependable cycle performance. What it does
