This light transformer (20VA) steps down incoming voltage for the appliance's light circuit. Replace a failing transformer to restore dependable illumination so you can monitor cooking progress and see clearly when cleaning.
Studied schematics and watched many on-line videos. Did some electrical checks with VOM (Volt/Ohm Meter). Determined that control panel thermal fuse attached to back of control panel had opened due to high temp. Determined that the upper oven thermal fuse on back of oven had opened due to high temp. Determined that transformer that supplies power to lights was bad (open primary). Removed control panel circuit board and had it repaired/verified good. Faulty control panel was the reason that oven... Read more
This 10-32 terminal block nut fastens wire lugs to the appliance's terminal studs. Replacing a missing, stripped, or corroded nut restores a tight, reliable connection and helps prevent heat damage or intermittent power at the connection.
The oven temperature was low and the heating time excessive. However, the range display showed the requested 400F, even though the oven was really 250F. Because the oven displayed an inaccurate temperature, I ordered an oven sensor, a heating element, and a terminal block. Replacing the heating element fixed the problem. The element I received was the same shape and size, but the supports were not the same. However, I think it must have been a design change after mine was manufactured... Read more

This foam tape is used to seal and cushion mating surfaces in your appliance. Replacing a worn strip restores a snug fit, helps reduce noise, and helps maintain proper airflow, heat, or moisture control where specified by the manufacturer.
I read different reviews and believed the problem was most likely the switch had failed. I confirmed the proper switch for my Model number with a very helpful Pro and ordered a new roll of tape that protects the glass top and seals the union of glass to the counter. In my case, the cooktop did not have any flanges stabilizing the cooktop so I could remove a drawer below the cooktop and push up on the cooktop to separate it from the counter. It was simply removing screws with a nut driver or... Read more

This radiant surface element restores proper heat to a glass-ceramic cooktop burner. When the original element burns out or develops hot spots, replacing it brings back steady, controllable heat for everyday cooking. What it does:
When the burner failed to come on, I was not sure if it was the burner or the control unit. After doing some research on line, I learned how to test both components. Removing an disassembling the cook top was easy. I quickly identified that the burner failed. Testing it will a multi-meter showed a break in the burner element. I then checked on line for a replacement burner element. The prices ranged greatly, by more than $50. I ordered from ApplicancePartsPros.com. The burner element... Read more

I ordered a new heating element and two other parts that attached to the heating element. I discovered a wire that broke off which caused the element not to work so I had to put a new female splicer on the broken wire then replaced the element and reattached the wires and everything worked. This is a Whirlpool cooktop control board. It manages and monitors burner temperatures. The control board can short out due to power surge or exposure to excessive heat. If the user interface is blank or not responding to input, the control board has likely shorted out. Before installing this part, be sure to cut power to the appliance and allow it to cool completely. The glass cooking surface must be removed to access the control board, and so it may be easier to complete this repair by removing the cooktop from the counter. Beneath the glass cooking surface, the control board is held in place by mounting studs, which can be removed with needle nose pliers. Disconnect any wire harnesses connected to it and remove any screws mounting it in place before installing the new part. This is a genuine OEM part compatible with cooktops manufactured by Jenn-Air, but may also work with other Whirlpool brands, including Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and others. This product contains no additional parts or hardware.

This replacement Thermostat Fix repair kit secures the thermostat assembly to help stabilize temperature sensing and restore consistent appliance performance. It's a small service part used when the thermostat mounting or retention hardware is worn or damaged. What it does
This switch seal is a small rubber gasket that protects a control or door switch from moisture and debris, helping maintain reliable operation and prevent damage to the switch assembly. What it does:
Within 6 months of use of the switch on the large dual element of the left front unit, the switch came loose from the mounting plate and would not allow the switch operation. It took me over 10 years to decide to fix it. The new switch was totally redesigned and was attached to the mounting plate directly with the small screws instead of using the mounting plate pressed onto small plastic horns on the switch, which ultimately failed when the user likely used too much downward pressure on the...
