Dishwasher would fill then shut off when restarted it would try to fill again overflowing Robert J. • Schererville , IN • July 02, 2016
I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt. The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. A ten minute job and the dishwasher is back in service (for half the cost of my local parts place) While...

It was actually the control panel and not the electronic control board. Replaced the part and it works fine!

Rinse agent reservoir was leaking unit wouldn't hold liquid… just ran out as you filled it Morgan L. • Cumming , GA • August 19, 2014
Ordered the part. Arrived the next day. Took the eleven screws off the door exposing the back of the Soap/Rinse Aid dispenser. Six screws hold it on the inside of the door. Popped off easily. There is a plug that runs from the timer to the dispenser…it's a pain to get off. Use a flat head screw driver. Screwed the new unit in place. Plugged it in. Put the door back together. I accidentally caught the door catch in the door and screwed it together seizing it...so I had to take the top screws off...

Needed updating with stainless steel Carolyn K. • Trinity , NC • October 25, 2014
I used stainless front panels on the Maytag and Bosch dishwashers and also the Jenn-air trash compactor. They look great and wish I had updated sooner. Shipping for fast and wrapped well.

Shutdown on wash cycle "motor high current" fault Julian W. • Browns Summit , NC • July 21, 2015
Tested starter capacitor at 2.16µF.

It should be 15µF.

Contrary to service manual, capacitor is not accessible behind the toe/kick-plate; it is underneath but all the way towards the rear. To get to it, the dishwasher has to be removed and positioned face-down (drain first, use towels/drop-cloth).

Leds on panel stopped working then panel buttons stopped working Alan T. • Lake Stevens , WA • June 30, 2015
Super easy fix. Dishwasher works great now. Might take a second person to hold the door down while you lift off the inside cover (counter balance makes it want to close) but this could also be accomplished with a heavy object.
