Removed the front off the back panel, unplugged the old unit. Then using a blow dryer heated the old timer to peel the face /cover off and applied to the new clock. Plugged in the replacement clock. I lifted up the door and removed it. Next, I laid out newspaper on the floor. I placed the door on the newspaper upside down. With my socket driver, I removed the bottom door trim. I then used a pocket knife to remove the remaining glass in the top groove. I then slid in the new glass and reinstalled the trim. It took 30 minutes to replace the glass and clean up the glass fragments from the previous door glass. I looked up a video on how to replace it Utube. Personal safety equipment - Safety... Read more
A surface burner valve that regulates gas flow to a cooktop/range burner, allowing precise flame adjustment and complete shutoff. Replace a worn valve to restore smooth knob feel, accurate flame control, and dependable ignition.
I ordered a new valve and it came quickly. Took off the old one and opened it up to see if maybe it just needed to be greased to close completely. Had plenty of grease so I trashed it as defective. Installed the new valve in under 5 minutes and it worked great! Read more

I needed a T-25 screw driver for the screws inside the door. I used a stainless steel scrub pad to clean the existing glass - no scratches. Looks like BRAND NEW! Thank you... Read more
This leveling leg is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. Leveling legs are used on the bottom of stoves to correct imbalances on the cooking top caused by floors being unlevel. The leveling leg is threaded so that it can be adjusted up or down as needed. There are four holes for leveling legs on the stove's bottom. Each leg can be adjusted independently. If the legs are missing or lost, these replacements will help level the stove for more even cooking. When the stove is not level, the food inside pans will be unlevel and not cook evenly.Make sure the power is disconnected before installing the leveling leg. Tilt the stove back and place a chock underneath one side so that the leg can be screwed up or down as needed. Remove the chock and check for level. If the stove is still unlevel, repeat the procedure on the side that is not level. Continue to adjust until the stove is level. Restore the power to the stove. This leveling leg is a black part that is sold individually. It is designed for use on ranges manufactured by General Electric, Kenmore, and Hotpoint.
Dismantled the upper part of the stove and removed old part. Had to super glue plastic parts of the underneath part where the touch pad is to be attached to. Put in new touch pad. Worked fantastic. Read more

This is a replacement screw that can be used with many different types of household appliances. Screws fasten various pieces of machines together. They can also help to reduce the amount of vibration in the machine. If a screw is missing or damaged, it could cause a machine to stop working properly, or to vibrate more than it should. The screws are made from metal and will typically last for a long time. However, the threads and other parts of the screw can wear down with use. The screws could also become lost when making other repairs to the appliance. Replacement of the screws is generally easy, but it will depend on where it is placed. This item can replace certain screws found in various models of ranges, ovens, dryers, and microwaves from General Electric, Hotpoint, Whirlpool, and Kenmore. This is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. Owners may want to have several replacements on hand in case they need them.

Note: Part has been revised and may no longer include the wires. The switch is the same. Use your existing wires.
Rather than replacing the whole ignition switch harness, I cut out the broken switch and replaced it with Burner Ignition Switch WB24K10017 / AP2632529. Wire stripper, small wire nuts, and electrical tape were also used. At first, the new switch was constantly on when the knob was in the off position. The gas valve shaft has a "U" shape. When the U is right side up, the gas is off and so should the igniter. The gas valve shaft position couldn't be changed, so instead, I re-mounted the... Read more
