This turntable coupler connects the microwave's turntable motor to the glass tray to drive smooth rotation during cooking. Replacing a worn coupler restores even heating and prevents the tray from slipping, stalling, or wobbling. What it does:
Unplug your microwave. Took the screws off of the bottom of the unit with it still on the cabinet. The whole bottom panel swung down to expose the turntable motor. I took the power cable loose (just pull it off). It was one screw to take the motor out. Word to the wise: DON'T try to take the plastic coupler off before the motor.
