The Handle End Cap is an OEM part for GE ranges. This part plays a role in capping the ends of the range handle, allowing a seamless and aesthetically pleasing finish while also preventing injuries by covering potentially sharp edges.
Causes of a bad handle end cap include physical impact, frequent cleaning that leads to wear, or degradation due to exposure to kitchen grease and heat.

1) Opened package, 2) unwrapped end-caps, 3) broke off guide pieces with pliers, 4) inserted caps in both end of handle, 4) unscrewed 6 Phillip screws to remove oven-door fascia, 4) unscrewed two end-cap retainer bolts with nut driver to release remnants of broken end-caps, 5) re-inserted bolts back through the oven door engaging the new end-caps on each end, 6) tightened bolts while begging the new end-caps not to break, 7) positioned fascia back over the oven door, 8) restored the 6 screws to... I always save original books and assembly sheets for appliances. That helped a lot ! The assembly sheets showed how the ovens went in, how they were attached to the cabinet and what to avoid so I didn’t bend trim piece. NOTICE: Part has been redesigned. Wire terminals are no longer straight off the the back they are from the side. Depending on your model you may have to make changes to make it fit.
Replaced oven lamp holder. Easy job. Took 10 minutes. Shut breaker to stove off. Removed 2 screws. Removed old lamp holder. Changed out the oven gasket. It was very easy, but finding the correct gasket was hard. The customer service rep at Appliance pros helped me find the correct piece, refunded me for the wrong gasket I ordered earlier and answered a lot of questions about what else may be wrong if the gasket didn't work.
