Fix a loose or fallen-out beater pin on your stand mixer. This groove pin secures the planetary hub for proper beater rotation. Easy DIY repair.
Replaced the center gear and since they sent the hub along I replaced that too just to be safe. Used the live chat before ordering to make sure I was ordering the correct part. The person I chatted with was very nice and very helpful and parts came in good shape, and just as ordered. Replaced the stripped gear the next day and added a bunch of grease and the mixer works like new. Was very impressed with their diagrams and helpful videos as well as their large selection of parts. The other... Read more
Secures the worm gear and drive shaft in your stand mixer. Replace if the pin is missing, bent, or has fallen out, preventing proper rotation.
Originally I thought the worm gear had gone bad - the most common problem when the mixer head won't turn. Got a new worm gear and took extraapart the mixer (followed the instructions in an online video tutorial). The worm gear was fine! The problem turned out to be that the small metal pin that secures the worm gear and drive shaft together was missing (?). Don't know where it went or if it was ever there in the first place, but without it the drive shaft and worm gear do not work together... Read more
Speed control lever cracked or broken? This mixer speed control lever restores speed adjustment. Simple 15-minute repair with basic tools.
After ordering the speed lever, I watched one of the videos about disassembling the mixer. I followed the instructions pretty much to the letter except I found I spent more time cleaning and air dusting around the motor to get the accumulated flour dust out. The insides of the mixer haven't been touched in 30 years. About the most difficult part of disassembly was the 4 screws holding the mixer head to the stationary base. these screws have beveled cuts designed to lock the screws in place, I... Read more

Replacement lift arm for stand mixers. Supports and raises/lowers the mixing bowl. Replace if cracked, broken, or won't stay in raised position.
I followed the online tutorials, there are many....replaced the PLASTIC part that had worn out Part #: AP4325266 (241764), and also the roll pin, Part #: AP3038054 (9703442) that held it in place with the handle. THIS IS THE HARDEST part of the entire repair, pounding out the roll pin and pounding it back in. A special tool should probably be used for this. I had a small specialized driver bit that "fit" for the job, so I abused it. Probably didn't need to BUY a NEW roll pin, ( it HAS be... Read more

For most 20-year-old KitchenAid Blenders the grease packed inside begins to break down into UCK and oil which will drip through the old gaskets. After breaking down the case and removing all of the old grease and oil I cleaned all the gearing and shafts. I replaced the case gasket, the 2 shaft gaskets that the lower orbital gear slides up, and then the o-ring on the main shaft after everything was installed. I did a break-in run on med speed for one hour and then tapped the chrome ring off... Read more
