I tried all the obvious solutions but no luck. I called an appliance repair person and he said it sounded like the timer. He asked for the model number and would get back to me with a price. The handle was a little more difficult as it took a lot more prying with a screwdriver to... Read more
I'd replaced the motor that I purchased here about a month ago. It worked fine for a few weeks, then it just stopped and wouldn't start. I searched on the Internet and found the 3 most likely culprits. Since the dryer is 24+ years old, I decided to just purchase all 3 and replace them. The dryer cycling thermostat was different than the original, so I didn't replace it. 20 minutes and I had the dryer thermal fuse and thermostat replaced and the dryer functioning. I ordered the parts on... Read more
