Replacing the Door Gasket is very easy and will take about 2-3 mins per door. Simply remove the Gasket Retainer (1 screw), and pull off the old Gasket. Install the new gasket by simply pushing the gasket clips into the holes where the old clips came out from. Be sure to start gasket at the first hole either side of the Gasket Retainer and work your way around. Reinstall Gasket retainer. I recently shattered the outer glass on my Whirlpool oven door. (Side note for lesson learned...don't swat at a fly with a broom when its on the oven door. I didnt swing hard just a love tap but thats all it took ha ha) The toughest part of the fix was removing the broken glass as it had shattered into hundreds...no thousands of pieces. Replaced both hinges... simple repair, took about 20 minutes. My only issue is that I replaced these hinges a year and a half ago to repair the same problem. Seems like Whirlpool could have designed a better door. Read more

Whirlpool convection oven. Access to convection element from inside. Three screws to remove plate covering fan blade. Then one screw to remove element bracket. I placed tape over the holes with the wires so they wouldn’t pull back into the panel. Remove old element at tabs and replace. Very easy fix. Studied schematics and watched many on-line videos. Did some electrical checks with VOM (Volt/Ohm Meter). Determined that control panel thermal fuse attached to back of control panel had opened due to high temp. Determined that the upper oven thermal fuse on back of oven had opened due to high temp. Determined that transformer that supplies power to lights was bad (open primary). Removed control panel circuit board and had it repaired/verified good. Replaced it with the video listed..Maytag Atlantis dryer was not heating. Checked all components inside dryer, thermostat, coils, etc. All check out ok ......last thing I checked was the terminal. If you don't mind taking the side and back off of the oven it is pretty simple to fish the line around to the plug in the back. You may want to check the type of plug before you order the part since some are male and others are female. I initially ordered the wrong plug for my oven and I have to order the female plug.
