This compression tube nut secures water inlet tubing to a threaded fitting to create a reliable, leak-resistant seal. Replace a cracked or stripped nut to stop drips at the connection and keep your appliance's water system working properly.
- Compresses the tubing against the fitting to seal the water line at the inlet valve, filter head, or other water-system connections
- Helps correct leaks at the water line connection point
- Replaces nuts that are cracked, cross-threaded, or deformed
- Common symptoms: water dripping at the connection, difficulty tightening the line, or a poor seal after reassembly
What's included: One tube nut. Install notes:
- Shut off the water supply and disconnect power before servicing.
- Slide the nut onto the tubing first, seat the tube fully on the fitting, then hand-tighten and snug with a wrench; do not overtighten.
- Inspect and reuse the existing sleeve/ferrule and tube insert if in good condition; replace if worn.
- Restore water and check for leaks at the connection.

Jenn airJDB8000AWS3 dishwasher would not drain Lynden B. • Benicia , CA • December 17, 2019
Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. After watching a video on how to replace the drain pump, I carefully energized the dishwasher (from water and electricity) then removed the dishwasher to take a look. After removal of drain hose from the pump, discovered that drain hose was connected to water inlet assembly which also needed removal to...

The door balance mount is the side-frame bracket that supports the dishwasher's door counterbalance system. When worn or broken, it can let the door drop, slam, bind, or feel heavy. Replacing it restores smooth, controlled door movement. What it does
- Anchors the door springs and balance link/cable to counterbalance the door's weight
- Helps the door open and close smoothly without dropping or slamming
- Guides the balance link for consistent, quiet movement
- Common symptoms: door feels heavy or uneven, falls open, won't stay put, or makes grinding/squeaking noises; visible damage to the bracket or rollers
What's included
- One door balance mount (bracket)
Install notes
- Disconnect power and shut off water before servicing
- Pull the dishwasher out slightly to access the side where the mount is installed
- Carefully relieve spring tension; note link/cable routing before removal
- Transfer the spring/link to the new mount, secure the bracket, and check door balance on both sides

This overfill control float assembly sits in the dishwasher tub and rises with the water level. It works with the float switch to shut off the inlet valve, helping prevent overfilling and potential leaks.
- Rises with the water level to engage the float switch and stop water flow
- Helps protect against tub overfill and floor leaks during the fill cycle
- Replace if the float is missing, warped, stuck, or doesn't move freely
- Symptoms can include continuous filling/overfilling, water spilling from the door, or no fill if the float is stuck in the up position
What's included: One float assembly Install notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off the water supply before servicing
- Remove the lower rack; lift the old float straight up from the tub opening
- Clear any debris from the float well so the new float moves freely
- After reassembly, start a fill to ensure the float rises and water shuts off

What's included: One upper spray arm mount. Installation notes:
- Disconnect power and turn off water supply before servicing
- Pull out the upper rack; remove the upper spray arm from its mount

- Restores normal operation when the original capacitor has weakened
What's included: One 23.5 µF run capacitor Install notes:
- Disconnect power before servicing; discharge the old capacitor safely
- Note wire locations and transfer leads to the new capacitor one-by-one
- Mount securely in the original bracket or location to prevent vibration
- If the motor still won't start, further diagnosis of the motor or start device may be required

Dishwasher would start begin to fill with water then there would be 4 5 short "hums" or "buzzes" it would then shut off and drain what water had filled John S. • Granite Falls , MN • September 19, 2017
Figured it was either the capacitor and/or motor. Ordered both parts to be sure. tried changing the capacitor first; same problem. Replaced the motor (leaving the new capacitor in place). Unit now works fine. Overall an easy fix once you get the washer out and tip it on its side or top to get access to the motor area.
