Washer was leaking between outer tub and mounting base plate Jeffrey T. • Stallings , NC • May 07, 2016
Replaced all seals, unfortunately it is still leaking. I can see where it is leaking from. I am going to tear it back down use some ultra grey gasket maker and reinstall tub gasket. Hoping that works. If it still leaks I will be using the washer as a large paper weight.

Bearings were worn out makeing a lot of noise Lawrence L. • Largo , FL • August 08, 2015
I had a lot of problems removing the spin hub, I had to use an air impact wrench to un screw it even then it was very hard, it did not go easy with the hammer & pipe wrench as shown in the video. It was also very hard to remove the bottom spin bearing I had to cut the bearing retainer with a dremel tool so I could get my puller on it. After I struggled to get it apart The repair went very easy, I used brake spring pliers to remove the springs it worked like a charm. I am very pleased with...

Maytag atlantis making really loud noise during the spin cycle Carl F. • Park City , KS • March 02, 2015
First; The part was ordered on Thursday and I received it on Friday! The kit was the correct one and complete with everything needed. (Maytag Atlantis MAV6200AWW – APV4373103 tub seal kit & bearing) Great Service ! I will certainly recommend you guys !
Some of the things I encountered installing the tub-seal on a machine that is 15 years old:
Be prepared to do considerable cleaning of the tub cover, tub assy and outer tub.
The 4 tub assy bolts were very rusted to the point the ½ inch socket...

I was not getting any cold water in my washing machine. Kenneth D. • Blasdell , NY • July 06, 2023
1.) Made sure BOTH Hot & Cold Water Lines turned off to Maytag Washer.
(I have dual shut-off valve for those two water lines),
2.) Briefly ran Washer on Warm Water Setting, removing water pressure & remaining water from Hot & Cold water lines.
3.) Unplugged Washing Machine.
4.) Used Needle Nose Pliers to remove BOTH Hot & Cold Water hoses from the hookup on the back of the washer.
3.) Made sure I had an empty bucket, on hand, to catch remaining water that may come out of now-removed, hot &...

Severe vibration during washer spin cycle. Robert G. • Richmond , VA • January 15, 2018
I followed the Appliance Parts Pro's advice videos for the Maytag MAV6451AWW Atlantis washer on replacing the snubber ring and the suspension springs. Everything went just fine except replacing the two rear most suspension springs. None of the videos illustrated REINSTALLING the REAR springs which is extremely difficult because you can't get enough leverage with your arm extended. Observing my frustration, my wife recommended taking off the back side. You can't simply take off the back,...
