Model# MAV7257AWW Maytag Atlantis Washing Machine. Repairs were fairly easy along with the videos appliancepartspros offers on their website. Parts also came with instructions on how to install. Other videos were available on You Tube. The only part difficult to install was Thrust bearing kit - make sure when installing to pull down on shaft so washer and e-clip will fit. Everything went just fine except replacing the two rear most suspension springs. None of the videos illustrated REINSTALLING the REAR springs which is extremely difficult because you can't get enough leverage with your arm extended. Here's the story. All my appliances except the dryer broke. Yeah. talk about bad luck. First I tried to fix the refrigerator. Replaced both motherboard and inverter board. Now it wakes up but the compressor does not kick in. Need another part. The washer, well I have to pull out the sink to get enough room to pull out the washer to fix it. Since the refriigerator is still in the middle of the kitchen, I don't need to tear apart another room. Nevertheless, let me say this, I love my "older"... Read more

I took the machine apart and installed a new brake rotor , Brake stator and a snubber ring, after the install the machine works great and no more squeaking. I will say one thing about AppliancePartsPros.com that when I first received the order the brake rotor was new in the sealed bag but the brake material wasn't attached to it, customer service was helpful and sent me a new part the next day. Watched the video on how to replace. Ordered new roller, which was delivered in just a couple of days. Since the roller had broke, I was unable to roll out the refrigerator, so I tilted the refrigerator back and placed a small furniture slider under the roller frame to prevent gouging the wood floor. Then it was easy to slide out the refrigerator and replaced the roller as explained on the video. I had ordered a pin and bolt, just in case I would need to replace, but didn't need them. ...
