Spin tube assembly with drive spacer, bearing, and shaft seals. Replace if washer leaks from bottom or basket doesn't spin properly. Verify fit.
It was fairly difficult, but I watched and followed the Appliance PartsPros video and was able to get it done using the parts I purchased from APP. The leak has stopped (but I'm still watching after 5 loads). Read more
Dryer won't signal when cycle ends or buzzer stuck on? This adjustable buzzer kit restores audible alerts for timers and notifications. DIY install.
I was looking for a parts sight and found yours. I started to watch all the video tutorials on each part and the "check these connections first video". Well by doing this I was able to find the source of my problem. What I thought was the heating coil not working right, ended up being the timer that was bad!!! I am so very happy with your sight and the step by step videos that were the success to being able to do this on my own. Read more
Fixes grinding noise or basket won't spin issues by disengaging the brake during spin cycles. Restores smooth operation when cam wears out or breaks.
First I looked at the many you tube vids, and there are many. appliance parts pros pretty much shows you how to deal with the parts. I changed the brake shoes and the clutch assembly which also comes with the driver cam. I also changed the metal brake operating cam. I think that brake lockup or improper brake release was the problem that broke the plastic cam driver. This was the broken plastic part making all the ticking noise. I first changed the coupling on the motor but that wasn't bad. in... Read more
Secures wiring harness to washer top panel. Replace this clip if original is broken, missing, or no longer holding wires firmly in place during operation.
Fixing the problem was quite simple. First, I removed the lid assembly (thanks to the diagrams supplied by AppliancePartsPros.com!). Getting the back two screws out was very difficult because I couldn't see them from the front and I could not move the unit out of the enclosed space. After some trial and error, I located the screws which were 5/16 hex head screws and removed them with a MAGNETIC nut driver. (The magnet assures that the screw will not drop down into the mechanism). Second, I... Read more

Fix a washer that won't fill or agitate properly with this 3-circuit pressure switch connector. Simple DIY repair in under 30 minutes with basic tools.
Watched on line Video. Only problem was in disconnecting wire "bus" connector from switch. I was unable to remove connector without damaging it. I "jumped" connector to prove switch was faulty. This also allowed my wife to continue to do laundry while part arrived. I ordered a 3 circuit connector, but this was not the correct part. I ended up removing 3 wires from old broken connector and attaching them to new switch without a connector. Electrical tape did the trick. Not perfect... Read more
6-20 screw secures panels, brackets, and internal components. Replace stripped, missing, or damaged screws to restore proper fit and eliminate rattling.
Ordered a kit with new belt, rollers and idler pulley. Used instructions in kit, YouTube videos and instructions I found under the console of the dryer. Found that the idler pulley had frozen and that the belt was nearly worn through. Repair it self was not difficult. The problem I had was in hooking the new belt around the idler pulley. It was solved by removing the one screw holding the air discharge tube and sliding the tube rearwards. This allowed me to get my arm in behind the idler pulley... Read more
