Tried buying a new filter, still no flow, bought the bypass cap, still no flow. I then purchased the filter housing assembly and within five mins or receiving the part had full flow restored. I ordered a replacement auger from AppliancePartsPros.com. Upon receipt of the new auger, I watched the repair video and took the ice crusher apart. I found several other parts that needed to be replaced as well. Once All the parts were received, I again watched the video. I found another video on YouTube that walked me through specific details of assembly and everything went... Read more

I removed all of the interior components in the refrigerator compartment for a good cleaning and to make sure no other issues. I also ordered several of the plastic shelf support pegs that had broken over time. The... Read more

There was no repair video for this fix so I had to figure it out myself. I removed all the shelves out of the refrigerator, then the light cover. I replaced the fan and heater element. The replacement was not an exact match. I had to adjust the parts to get the harness to fit the plug was not the correct size. The short... Our GE refrigerator has a dual evaporator. Which means there is an evaporator in both the freezer and the refrigerator. So inadequate cooling in the refrigerator is most likely not related to the freezer at all like it is with models that do not have dual evaporators. After extensive research, diagnosing and testing I was able to determine that the refrigerator evaporator thermistor was not working properly. I replaced all four thermistors (two in the refrigerator and two in the... Read more
