No problem to fix. I already did it before. I believe, Samsung poor design or poor quality of material for the rail, or both are the root cause of the problem and the need of periodical repairs of this part. Another unpleasant detail - the rail arrived without small wheel that is part of it. I had to extract this wheel from the broken rail and insert it into the new one. First off I unplugged the refrigerator. I removed the meat tray, and the three screws on either side. The screws hold the meat tray drawer guides. I then removed the vegetable drawer, the fruit drawer, and the shelf above the two drawers, these did not have screws. Removed the one screw that held the damper motor housing. Initially called repair man and he checked it out , took about half of the freezer insides out to decide the fan was bad. Then he informed me that he did not have part and was going to be on vacation for a week. So I finished tearing apart the freezer to get to part removing the ice maker and rear panel, removed fan and ordered new parts, parts arrived as said and I put back together. Changed the evaporator fan cover. I was told it comes with the fan motor and it did not so I had to order a fan motor. Then I found the fan wire harness was corroded and broken. I also installed an aluminum tab on the heater element that extends down the drain hole. I also had to clean the back of the fridge and unclog the two drain tubes on the back of the fridge next to the compressor and now it works fine. PS- use a small open end wrench to push the fan blade off the old fan. Read more

After trying to find a replacement for the handle for the freezer I found your website. Your prices were better then the other websites. I started to order it online but was not 100% if it was the right part so I called the number listed on website. The person that answered the phone was most helpful she took my ordered and processed it . I got the part in two business days and it snapped right back on the freezer door. The left side sync wheel was broken so the right side wouldn't stay all of the way closed. Replaced the left side sliding rail assembly and installed a new right side gear. Repair took 25 minutes, most of that time was unloading and reloading the drawer w\ food. Samsung French door refrigerator. Read more

Removed the lower back cover. I had to pry the cover of the compressor. Replaced the start relay and the refrigerator works again. Read more

Tried to find a new control board a local appliance parts store but they could not find the correct one based on how they looked up the model number. I called Appliance Parts Pros and within a few minutes and a scan of the model and the BOM model number they told me the correct part and sent it to me. And thanks to their help I now have a 'cool' refrig. Read more

Ordered rails, removed old rails and slid the new ones in. Job took 20 minutes start to finish. Very easy. Called various repair shops. Estimates $4-500 dollars. Spent a little over $200 for both rails. Read more
