Followed the instructions to remove covers to machine. Found water a the back of the washer
at the floor where the water valve/vacuum break is located. Ordered parts, replaced the parts
and no water leak. The KitchenAid Washer and Dryer is 28 yeasrs old. Since the parts and instruction videos are easy to followed I ordered extra parts to rebuild the pair. Replaced the agitator drive connector and dogs, worked well after a very quick fix.
The second machine had a bad lid switch, replaced and solved the problem.
