Connects the user interface to the main control board in your dishwasher. Replace if damaged, heat-stressed, or causing communication issues.
The dishwasher control panel was acting funny, not showing cycle times. So I pulled the plug and restarted it. Then it gave the E2/F2 code. Some googling turned up some ideas, beginning with checking the wires and voltages. I checked those, and found that the control panel was giving the proper voltage. The next step is to replace the user interface. I found the part on AppliancePartPros.com at a reasonable price. They sent it quickly. It was a fairly straightforward install, but you do... Read more

I found the serial number on the current compact entered it and your web site came up. Your schematics were excellent and made the repair very easy! Read more
Fix dishwasher not cleaning, grinding noise, or leaking from center. This sump and motor assembly distributes water to spray arms. Moderate DIY repair.
Bought a new sump/motor assembly to make it an easy swap out instead of buying just the motor. Assembly also came with a new diverter motor so I won't have to worry about having to go back in there if that failed. I also purchased new turbidity sensor and drain pump (which I found out had a small leak in addition to starting to fail) since I was already in there. The machine works like it's brand new now. Appliances of all manufacturers and vintages are mostly plastic that over time become brittle and develop stress fractures leading to failure. Such as was the case with our "high" end Kitchenaid dishwasher. The Upper rack adjustment is held in place by four thin plastic tabs that must support the entire weight of upper rack dishes. Eventually, every couple of years, they break off and the upper rack falls, Replacing the adjuster assembly is a process of snapping off/on a series of plastic... Read more
