Removed the drum and replaced the bearings, bearing seal, seal between front and rear outer drum, shocks, and lid. It would be helpful to others to also go over an unit that has the controls in the rear as mine does. You simply unclip the lid in the front, take out the four screws for the soap dispenser and lift the lid up and do not have to remove it at all. I ordered the door from Appliance Parts Pros, which was on back order. When it arrived I had already removed the broken door. Please be sure to save your parts as the new door only came with one bushing for the door. Read more
I explained to the representative the piece that was missing on my washer. I had given him the model number etc. He was very helpful to make sure I got the right part he checked it three times just to make sure it was right. I received the part in a very timely matter. Size: 4 3/4 inches. Used to secure the washer tub before transporting. They must be removed before using your washer.
This front load washer drive motor stator includes the rotor position sensor switch (RPS). For the RPS switch only order 6501KW2002B.
Washer kept unbalancing, I found one of the shocks had lost it's pin. I replaced the three shock absorbers, springs and also water valves since the old ones were clogged. The top comes off very easily (two screws) to access the water valves. I used a hand truck to lay it on it's side and with the back removed I had access to everything without taking the front off. through the back and large access hole in the bottom, a major time saver. No luck, I did the easy fixes first by replacing the shock absorbers then the springs to no avail. Looks like the problem is in the much more expensive and difficult spider arm. Read more
This seal does not have a drain hole. If you need a drain hole, order 4986ER0001C.
After ordering the incorrect part from another site, I asked appliancepartspros.com which boot I needed. They answered immediately and I had the part within a day or two. No hole. For door boot seal with hole use part number 4986ER0001D.
Remove spring clamp on door. Open front panel, pop out drain door, removed 5 screws total to take off front panel and one plug. Took off other spring clamp. Challenge was install to properly insert new seal. Thought it was the wrong part at first but with persistence it work great and is much better than previous design. Read more
This seal has a drain hole. If your model does not have a drain hole, order part# 4986ER0001A.
Replaced bearings and seal and spider shaft.when I took it apart I accidentally cracked the outer tub assembly. I ordered one right away but the tub wouldn't arrive till January 23rd I decided to fix the crack with j b weld. It was a good fix and I ran3 loads already and works great. Read more
