This noise filter assembly conditions incoming AC power to reduce electromagnetic interference before it reaches the control system. A failed line filter can cause no power, intermittent shutdowns, or breaker trips; replacing restores stable, reliable operation. What it does:
Checked circuit breaker to d/w first. Good. Went to website to see no power issues. Most all of them mentioned the noise filter being the problem. Removed filter from machine and found the corner melted where fuse is located. Ordered new filter, installed, and now have power to switches. All the information I found on the website really made this a easy job to get done. Read more

I started by watching the video and it was very helpful. I would make one suggestion. On our model the weights on the tub sit very close to the front gasket. It is much easier to put the gasket on the tub before you put the weights on. Also, since the washer was tore apart, I replaced the hoses and seals and shocks since the machine is about 8 years old. The shocks made a huge difference. It spins like it did when it was new. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. Read more

I originally thought the washer had a bad bearing, but once I got it disassembled it the spider arms were broken. This required the replacement of the tub assembly. While replacing the tub I replaced all of the water bellows. The parts came quickly, the live chat and videos were very helpful. I looked online ans read where the tE error code meant the thermistor was bad. I then found a video on YouTube showing how to replace the part. On AppliancePartsPros.com I chatted with a technician that told me the thermistor on my particular model was built into the heater unit and he gave me the link to purchase it. After it arrived via FedEx I followed the repair video and installed it myself (I'm a girl). So far I have run about a half dozen loads and no problems! Thank you so much... Read more
This Screw (drawing) is a factory fastener used to secure appliance panels and components. Replacing a stripped, corroded, or missing screw restores a tight fit, reduces vibration, and helps keep assemblies correctly aligned.
The upper counter-balance weight mount design is a poor design to begin with. It started to rattle loose approximately 5yrs into the 8yrs that we've owned it. As it would start to loosen up (as evidenced by the loud banging noise exhibited during operation); I'd shut it down, pull the top off, remove the weight (it was almost always half rattled off at this point), wrap the mount lugs with friction tape (the plastic lugs were being worn down/chaffed by the balance weight), put the weight back... This water inlet valve assembly regulates the flow of household water into the washer's dispenser and tub. Replacing a sticking or leaking valve restores proper filling during wash and rinse cycles and helps prevent unwanted drips or overfilling. What it does
Replaced the triple-solenoid cold water valve. I am 70 years old, and my washer/dryer set are 10 years old. They are LG brand. I found the model number in the owner's manual. The hardest part of the repair was moving two heavy beasts in a very confined space. I've replaced the two water pumps on the unit about 18 months ago and that was quite a challenge. This repair was a breeze. I removed the washer top, by unscrewing four screws at the back of the lid. This gave me very easy access to the... Read more
