Fix washer overfilling or not filling issues with a water level pressure switch replacement. Common repair for PE error codes. Takes 10-20 minutes to install.
Conducted research on web, and via direct contact with AppliancePros where a diagnosis of replacing the water inlet valve and cleaning the sensor tube would "most probably" (80%) handle the issue. The remaining uncertainty would reside in the electronic board circuitry. The price of replacing the water inlet valve was half of a local repair call just to diagnose the issue so I decided to have faith in the odds presented to me. The part arrived on time, and using AppliancePros advice and... Read more

When I looked up LG washer E6 code on the web I saw the tip from LG: unplug the washer and call for service. To me that's a challenge. Removed the lid, 3 screws on each side under pop-off panels. Removed 2 screws on the top front of the machine under pop-off dots. The hardest part was keeping the top raised while dealing with the two screws that actually held the hinge. If this 60 yr old lady can do it, so can you!! Read more

This inlet hose routes water from the fill valve into your washer. Replace if cracked, leaking, or worn to prevent water damage and drips.
I figured after 10.5 years that it might be time to replace the dispenser hoses because I was noticing black stuff in the dispenser trays. I replaced two or the four hoses and clamps on the far left side and for good measure the hot water inlet valve. The inlet valve was okay but the screen had all kinds of crap in there that I couldn't clean out so now I have an extra solenoid just in case one of the others fails. While I was at it I removed the dispenser and cleaned the calcium build up on... Read more
