Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. The hot inlet valve was dripping water, replaced it. Water and soap were coming out of the vent pipe. The new Float assembly had a shorter shaft than the old Float Assembly I was replacing. I did install the new Float Assembly and cleaned the vent hose where the float seats and I haven't seen any more water on the floor. Both repairs were made easy by watching your repair videos. Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. Initially we discovered the LE code was due to water in the base due to the over flow. Of course my warranty was up and 1 month later the DW finally stopped with this error. We pulled out the DW and soaked up the water in the sensor on the right side base where it collects water. This got rid of the LE error code. Replaced sump and related pieces. Also replaced door baffles that were getting bad. The hardest part of job was removing the dishwasher from the its spot in cabinets. The info on site made replacing parts easy. Read more

Pulled dishwasher from the cabinet and flipped onto its side. Easy access to sump and drain flapper valve that I also replaced. Rubber sump coming apart into soft pills & chunks and plugging spray arms. Better now but it's rediculous that GE would make components that dissolve this way. Read more

I checked the drain hose for blocking at the garbage disposal and then at the connection point to the dishwasher. The hose was clear and nothing was obviously obstructing where the drain hose connects to the dishwasher.
