Replaced touch pad. Did run into a little problem. the new pad flashed up a code PED000 apparently the pad had to be programmed using the code from the serial number plate. Whirlpool service was zero help said code didn't exist. Found instructions how to do it on line. Found it on Google by asking what does this code mean. The cooktop controller would not properly maintain burner temperature. Unit kept clicking like a morse code signal Joseph B. • Pen Argyl , PA • April 16, 2019
I repaired the problem by replacing the Power Board assembly and the daughter relay board. Not sure which one was the problem. Since I had it apart I replaced both. So far the unit is working like new. Everything was plug in, so I didn't have to worry about complex wiring. I took pictures prior to disassembly to make sure I got the reassembly right. Worth the effort to fix it- very satisfying.

This part is a washing machine timer. This is the component that controls the washing machine functions and the length of time for each of the cycles. Signs that the timer has gone bad can vary. For example, the washing machine may only wash but will not spin or drain. It might skip cycles or stall mid-cycle. The washing machine could become stuck on a cycle also. If this is happening, the repair person can check for continuity through the timer motor by using a multimeter. If it measures infinite resistance, the timer will need to be replaced. Unplug the washing machine from the wall before trying to replace this part. The person performing the replacement procedure should wear work gloves for safety during the process. This timer is compatible with washing machines that are manufactured by Kenmore and Whirlpool. It is sold individually. This part comes directly from the manufacturer.

This couldn't have been simpler! Removed the glass panel by taking out 4 screws on the bottom that were accessed by opening the oven door.
