After removing the band, we pushed aside the gasket and removed the screws to the latch and the connecting cables. To install the new part, we just reversed the process. Replaced the Rollers, Pins, belt and belt tensioner. One thing to keep in mind. In the video it was said that the back and front roller pins were different by lengths. They were the same length for my model. The differences were found to be the rear pins have left handed threads and the front ones were standard right hand threads. Keep that in-mind when you are trying to remove them. Read more

I removed the two screws and all the pieces that were broken. Went online to Appliance parts.com, searched for the part using the model number from the machine and ordered the part . part arrived in 2 days and with a Phillips screwdriver was installed in less than 5 minutes. Read more

First I check with Appliance Part Pros, watch videos how to access the parts I believe to be the problem. I love there videos and parts list of solutions to fix what it wrong. First I removed the washer from the laundry room and but it in the garage for more room to work on it. I had a slow leak at the water inlet valve where the water line from the filter assembly connected to the water inlet valve. I determine that the water line had scratches in it which caused it to not seal. Had to buy the entire reservoir and filter assembly to get that water line. The replacement was smooth. It took about 30 minutes to swap out and it fixed the leak. Read more

My GE dryer from the late 80's/early 90's was squealing when it would start up, belt or bearing I was thinking. I found a manual online that covered my model and I watched a video on this site that showed me how to take it all apart, mine was a bit different but the principles were the same. • Leaking

Replaced tank assembly. Actually I think the supply hose was originally not fully seated in the tank and I think I could have re-seated it deeper through the gray bushing. When I set the line into the new tank, still leaking. Pulled out supply line and reset using a little more force and line went into the tank. I removed the wire and rubber seal in order to get to the door lacth then I unscrewed the three screws popped out the latch put the screws and the rubber and wire back and tested the washer. The door now locks and I can wash again...YEPPPPY Read more
