Lid lock stopped working Eugenio V. • Chicago , IL • February 26, 2016
Replaced it with the part I ordered from you guys. I had originally had LG come and check it out but they quoted me a price 250 plus tax. I said no way this little piece can cost 1/4 of the whole washing machine. So after finding your price, I you-tubed on how to replace it and I did in 20 min. Thanks youtube and thanks to you guys for such a great price on this switch assembly

Dryer was squeaking on start up and rumbling noise while running. Gene L. • Redmond , WA • December 01, 2020
I have an LG dryer purchased in 2007. Model: DLE9577SM. It was squeaking at start-up and rumbling a little. Not knowing what parts I would actually need, I ordered rollers with/without assemblies, tensioner pulley-only, new belt. After viewing this video a couple of times, I attacked my machine which is located in the comfort of my garage. Lots of room to spread out. Nice. This disassembly went OK however because, I suspect, my machine is 13 years old, the removal of the control panel was...

Dryer door would not stay closed without being taped shut Marceen W. • La Canada , CA • June 10, 2016
I chatted with a rep on Appliance Parts Pros and found out which parts I needed for my model of dryer. Ordered the 2 clips that held the door closed. They arrived the next day!! My dryer was very different than the video but we were able to figure out which screws to remove. The old clips popped out and the new ones popped in. Took about 30 minutes because of there being a top and bottom clip to remove and replace and line up the door parts to screw the screws back in. It works great!! I...

I asked them to give me the part numbers...at which point he said..."you won't find them"! I went on line, found the parts with AppliancePartsPros, talked live chat to make sure I could get them and had them the next day!!! I then had the previous company come and install...for free!!!!! Thank you. What a find for appliance parts!!!

Clothes dryer had developed a loud squealing noise the problem turned out to be the idler pulley wheel Don F. • Bakersfield , CA • September 19, 2020
I removed the front panel of the dryer by removing 2 screws and lifting it up and out. Then I removed 4 screws from the bracket holding the tub in place. I had previously removed the 4 screws from the rear inspection cover so I reached in and released the spring loaded belt that turns the tub and then removed the idler pulley wheel. The tub just lifts out at that point, exposing the 2 Drum support rollers in the rear.
I removed the 2 rear drum support rollers and decided to order 2 of...

I replaced drum rollers, axle shafts and front bearing kit. Still had noise. Ordered Idler Arm, Belt Tension Pulley & Washers. I ordered parts at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, received new parts at 11:30 am Thursday. The instructions & videos were very simple to follow and provided excellent tips. Back up and running with silence in an 1/2 hour. My 13 year old dryer is running like new again. Way cheaper than calling a repairman.

Water dispenser made a lot of noise Pablo C. • Apex , NC • November 23, 2015
Water dispenser came down to a trickle and made a lot of noise, I changed the filter but it didnt help and thus the water tank/head assembly needed to be replaced.
Replacing the water Tank/head assembly was an easy task, the hardest part is removing the covers and taking care of not breaking the insulation of the water inlet hose.
For the not-so-experts like me it is also good to rememebr to have a bucket to collect all the water that comes out after the connection to the solenoid valves is...

Wash cycle would not start faint click instead of normal door lock sound Jeff N. • Charlotte , NC • August 16, 2019
Replaced door lock. It required removing the two screws around the lock, pulling the spring hoop wire from around the door gasket, and then disconnecting the two wire terminals from the lock. Reverse with the new part.
After cracking open the old lock the failure was caused by a thin plastic tab breaking off.
I also bought the door switch since it's cheap - just in case the problem was not the lock. But the door lock was the fix.

The lever to the door switch broke. Valerie M. • Rochester , NH • April 02, 2014
First, I rooked on YouTube for a video on how to fix it. The video brought me to a very helpful video with a link to your website. We have had this dryer since we bought the house 10 years ago and the thought of buying something new, that wasn't made as well was a dreaded thought. I went on the website, entered the model number of my dryer and then a search link for a parts search. Not knowing the part number, I was able to find the exact thing I needed. It was amazing and so easy! Had...
