Lg 6601ER1006E Washer Water Level Pressure Switch OEM Part

The LG Model LG Washer model WM2487HRMA ISSUE: Washing Machine was filling very slowly. Overnight it would fill about 1 or 2 gallons. I would clear the tub by pushing a) Power b) set spin to None c) push Start. That would empty the tub. REPAIR SOLUTION: That did not solve the problem. Second, I replaced both the single (1) Water inlet valve assembly Part Number:5220FR2006H and also the Water Level pressure switch Part Number:6601ER1006E That solved the problem. I can't tell you which item was the problem. The Water Inlet Valve assembly was missing an orange cap. So most likely was the issue. The install is easy and quick. about 45 min. of work. Notes; When you replace the Water Level Pressure Switch, make sure to drain the hose in the front drain cover, so the level is set to zero level.

Called Sears repairman. Wanted $300 to fix. My husband soldered wires on thermistor. Code changed to PE error. I chatted with AppliancePro and was told we needed Switch asm pressure. I ordered a Thermistor too since it was only a few dollars. Parts came in almost next day. It didn't even take my husband 10 minutes to install both parts. Washer is up & running for under $30. I isolated the problem to the fill solenoid valves by turning the machine on and testing for 110V at the valve connector. Voltage was present but no water flow. 2 of 4 fill valves had failed. I replaced the1 hot water and 3 cold water valves. (Cold valves are 1 assembly) That corrected the problem. The time for repair was less than an hour.

I found that the pressure sensor was bad. But since the water valves were also right there, I went ahead and replaced the sensor as well as both water valves. Total repair time took less than 30 mins.

LG wm2688hwma throwing FE error. Replaced both water inlet valves and water level pressure switch. Very easy to get to the valves and pressure switch. Needed a bunch of towels to deal with the water coming out from the various inlet valve hoses. Needed a philips screwdriver for the washer lid, inlet valves and pressure switch. Needed pliers for removing the clamps on the inlet valve hoses. Needed an adjustable wrench for removing the water line hoses. Fairly straightforward and easy repair. After replacing these parts the washer is working again.
