Noticed Rolls on the top shelf no longer frozen, though the meat around it still was. Note: This is a good test, keep something that thaws quickly and is not expensive on top shelf, to act as a barometer for your freezer health! I first found a trip online to advance the defrost timer, as a failed timer is a common issue. I advanced the timer, but nothing happened. I emptied the freezer, then removed the thermostat and tested it. No continuity! With the Freezer continuing to thaw, I... Read more
Removes odors and keeps food fresh. Replace every 6 months for optimal performance. Located in the door under dairy compartment. Confirm fit by model.
I believe we had two problems. Our gasket was ripped in several places and our drain pan line was clogged. Therefore the water was frozen and backing up into the freezer. Replacing the gasket is an easy job and could possibly be done quickly enough that you don’t have to remove your freezer food items if you don’t discover additional problems during the process. The most time-consuming part is the approximately 40 screws that hold the freezer door shelf panel and gasket to the door itself. ... Read more

I originally ordered the Fan motor from a appliance dealer. I waited for 5 days for it to arrive. In the meantime I scavenge a motor from a junk refrigerator from the dump. It worked while I waited for the motor from the appliance dealer. When I picked it up 5 days later it was the "wrong" part. I was fuming mad. Repair took 20 minutes - 1 minute to set the new, non-broken shelf in place, and then 19 minutes teasing my spouse about the fragility of glass and multiple repetitions of the phrase "This is why we can't have nice things!" Probably worthwhile to program in 10 additional minutes to allow you to apologize to your spouse for ridiculing them for an honest mistake:) Read more

Secures door handle to refrigerator door. Replace if missing, stripped, rusted, or corroded from regular use. Essential hardware for handle installation.
I ordered a replacement handle and screws. The process was very easy with the help of one of your "pros" who found all the parts needed and took my order. I didn't realize I was getting both a refrigerator door handle and a freezer door handle in one set, but now we have the freezer handle if we need it. Removing the old handle and installing the replacement was very easy. It looks great, in fact the replacement is metal, whereas the original was plastic, so it looks better than it ever did! Evaporator coils frozen solid? Defrost thermostat senses coil temperature and triggers the heater to melt frost buildup. Straightforward replacement.
Checked compressor windings - ok. Start relay looked no rattle or burning. Start capacitor seamed ok but hard to check. No 120VC to start relay at any time. Ordered thermistor, and electronic control unit. Figuring it was a bad thermistor not telling the ECU it was warm and to turn on the compressor. Or the ECU was damaged and was not sending the 120v to the compressor. Changed the thermistor first (cheapest part and as Appliance parts pros has a return policy I wanted to start there). ...
