Description

This carburetor repair kit contains four distinct gaskets is and is designed to replace the gaskets in certain small gasoline engine lawn tools. These include leaf blowers, trimmer, pole pruners, blowers, and edgers manufactured by Echo and Zama. Carburetor gaskets serve as seals, enabling the stable blending of air and fuel so the engine idles and accelerates smoothly when called upon. Over time the gasket material, which is porous and wearable, will begin to age and wear out, and it must then be replaced. A user can determine whether or not a carburetor kit is needed by the way it performs after being started. If the machine starts up and then quickly dies, a carburetor kit is probably the answer. Zama and Echo carburetors are cubic-like metal boxes that sit inside the housing of the trimmer or other devices. Remove the entire carb and remove the set screw on each side.
