Description

This genuine OEM replacement carburetor kit contains everything needed to repair a small gas-powered lawn appliance carburetor. Carburetors mix gasoline and air to create balanced fuel that is ready for combustion. To maintain this balance, the carburetor has to be well sealed and properly functional. This means that the carburetor has several gaskets that seal it from the other parts. This kit contains those gaskets as well as the screws, bolts, and springs needed to repair a carburetor. Gaskets are under a lot of stress from heat and pressure and can slowly begin to warp or crack over time. When one breaks, it is best to replace them all because they all suffer the same exposure. To access the carburetor, use a wrench to remove the air filter and filter housing. Then, detach the carburetor and remove the damaged or worn out gaskets. Replace with the parts from this kit and reassemble. This kit will work with select Zama and some Echo carburetors. It contains four gaskets, a spring, a fuel float, a filter, an eye, and a pin.
