Ron I have a Frigidaire Gallery 24 dishwasher model #fghd2433kf0 When you choose your wash cycles, all come up with a time of 99+ except the quick wash, which comes up 50. On that cycle it counts down to 44 then kicks up to 99+. Do I need a new control board? Ron
Answer Ron, No, you don't need the control board, at this point. The control will extend or shorten the cycles, based on water temperature and turbidity of the water. Make sure the water temperature in the tub, on the first fill of the cycle is at least 120 dgr.F. Check the wires and connections at the turbidity sensor 154762601 / 154762601 Sensor, turbidity, snap-in, w/seal in the bottom of the wash pump/sump assembly, you want to remove the sensor and check the upper portion for sediment, debris and deposits. Also check or replace the detergent and rinse aid, they may be producing suds/foam during the cycle and causing the control to extend the cycle as well. If all's OK, then replace the control board. Answer Ron, you may want to check the turbidity sensor located in the sump assembly under the filter screen. The turbidity sensor can have a build up on it that can cause the dishwasher to sense heavy water soil and cause it to have long wash times. Read More...
