Scott for Model Number FGEF3055MBA My range won't heat past 199 degrees. I noticed that the broil element won't come on even on the broil setting. I checked continuity on the broil element and bake element they don't appear broken and none of the wires are burned. I am at a loss on what else to check. I'm hoping its not the control board. Any help or ideas would be great.. Thanks
Answer Scott, If there are no damaged wires and the elements check OK, then the issue is in the control. Recheck the resistance of the elements Bake element should have 19 to 20 ohms resistance, the Broil element should have 14 to 15 ohms resistance. If all's OK and proper, you'll need the 5304495521 / 316560117 Controller, electronic, ES540 and 316419828 / 316419828 Overlay, clock, black, ES540. The parts are in stock and available.
