Scott May 08, 2019 for Model Number FGEF3055MBA My range won't heat past 199 degrees. I noticed that the broil element won't come on even on the broil setting. I checked continuity on the broil element and bake element they don't appear broken and none of the wires are burned. I am at a loss on what else to check. I'm hoping its not the control board. Any help or ideas would be great.. Thanks

Recheck the resistance of the elements Bake element should have 19 to 20 ohms resistance, the Broil element should have 14 to 15 ohms resistance. Paul J. Bratti February 25, 2018 for Model Number FGEF3055MWD Electric Range Although at present the following problem is intermittent, it has us not being able to fully trust cooking items. When you punch in a temperature it starts to heat up. (Again, at present it doesn't fail each time) The little lines on the upper right of the keypad light up intermittently and the word bake is present. When it decides to fail the word bake has disappeared and the temperature rises. The word ERROR comes up on the keypad and we can't shut off the temperature, or the stove. I have to go downstairs and shut off the main power to the appliance. (The stove gets really, really hot). What is the problem and what part do i need and why that part? Paul
