Rick for Model Number Kenmore Elite 795.72042.313 Hello, I’m still working on the issue of my ice not harvesting. I checked the ports in the refrigerator that blow into the ice maker compartment. When the door switched are pushed, the fan starts and blow cold air from the freezer into the ice maker compartment. However, the ice maker compartment is still at 20 degrees. Is there something else I can check? Thanks, Rick
Answer Rick, the ice maker fan voltage would need to be tested at the main control to ensure it is receiving the proper operational voltage. At connection CON7 there will be a yellow/black wire, red wire, and blue wire next to each other. With the black probe of a meter staying on the blue wire, the red probe would go to the red wire and the DC voltage should measure 9-12VDC. Then the red probe would move to the yellow/black wire and should measure between .1 to 4.9VDC. If the main control is not sending 9-12VDC, the control CSP30021078 has failed. If the reads 0VDC or 5VDC, then the fan motor ABA72913413 has failed and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, November 11, 2019
