Eleazar for Model Number WM2701HV Occasionally when washer goes into a fast spin cycle, some smoke will start billowing out from washer, enough times to raise concern. Looking at your forums, thinking of replacing spider assy, tub bearings and seal, as well as tub seal between two halves. I would like to know exact part numbers I need to order and your opinion on whether I’m going in the right direction with this issue.
Answer Eleazar, as smoke can occur from any item that uses electricity or rotates at a fast pace, visually inspecting where the smoke is coming from by observing through the rear access panel would allow for the most accurate identification as to what is failing. The tub bearings are going to be part number MAP61913708 and MAP61913707, the bearing seal is part number 4036ER2004A, the spider assembly is part number 4434ER0002H, and the tub seal is part number 4036ER4001B.
