Hello Wladyslaw, The spider is more likely to fail as the machine gets older. You can check the spider by opening the door and lifting and releasing the top of the spin basket. Turn the spin basket 1/3rd of a turn and lift the spin basket again. Turn the spin basket another 1/3rd of a turn and repeat the lifting of the front of the spin basket. If there is more play in the spin basket in any of the three positions, there is a spider (4434ER0002H and six 4011FA4353E) issue. If there is no difference in the amount of play, the issue will most likely be the bearings, 4280FR4048N, MAP61913707, and 4036ER2004A.

Alfred, You can try using a flat blade screwdriver or stiff blade putty knife, Slip the edge of the blade between the washer and the tub, and twist or lift up om bolt, and use the 10MM socket to remove/back out the mounting bolt, once the bolt gets past the "stripped out" area.

Eleazar, as smoke can occur from any item that uses electricity or rotates at a fast pace, visually inspecting where the smoke is coming from by observing through the rear access panel would allow for the most accurate identification as to what is failing. The tub bearings are going to be part number MAP61913708 and MAP61913707, the bearing seal is part number 4036ER2004A, the spider assembly is part number 4434ER0002H, and the tub seal is part number 4036ER4001B.
